SouthCoast Blind Buy

I wanted WW and I like the side skirts on the 2008 better than the 2010. Long story short I took a chance and had the car shipped cross country from Huntington Beach CA to Massachusetts. Just came off the rig today. Car is as advertised, very happy.

Thanks to Southcoast for the smooth transaction

Its was 90 out today, so my surfer X is very happy at the moment. It is in for the shock of its life in a few short months.

I also did a blind purchase from South Coast, but flew to Cali from Seattle and had a vacation in Hunington beach and San Diego, then drove back to washington.

I love the car, and thanks to Sam!

South coast rocks, they installed;

Ultimate Racing dual catback with Titanium tips, with muffler midpipe and high flow cats and its IMO the best sounding exhaust setup I have heard with no drone.

Shipping was 1200. I'm going to skip the mudflaps though.
It has chips in that area already but from a few steps back they aren't too noticeable.
A darker color might be an issue though, the primer is light grey. They must be nearly invisible on Apex Silver!
I have to get rid of the cheasy shift boot and I think it is running the pig rich tune. I think I'll go intake + Specialty X
And then take a trip to Ivey.

I just bought an 08 GSR SSS too. Mine is Rally Red and those rock chips show up pretty good on mine, but i dont care, its going to be daily driven. I hate the shift boot, might make my own leather one in a few weeks. Wicked White was my 2nd choice!!!! Looks great!!

Color makes a big difference. Used WW's are ridiculous. I could have saved 3K and gotten a GG with 20K less miles from the same dealer. I like GG alot but I always would have been kicking myself.

What is really odd is the entire east coast used market seems to be base models with Aero and "sport" package aka shift knob and hand brake lever. Talk about backward priorities.

It is not a leftover. It has 32K miles on it. Somehow it remained stock, I can't find any evidence of any removed mods anywhere and I can usually sniff them out

Yeah its strange but I think I'd rather pay the shipping and buy from them vs. a local dealer even for a new car The car is just amazing, I love everything about it. Butter smooth shifting, not a single rattle, even has the new car smell

Even if their not visible you dont want them to end up rusting
