idle problem

When my car is at idle with the A/C on it acts like it wants to shut off, but when i turn the air off it idles fine. What could be the cause of this because it is driving me crazy! thank you.

I had the same thing happen before i got my AP. After i did the 1.06 map it got a little better. I contacted Cobb and asked for the 1.07 map, now it is a whole lot better.

Are you running the Cobb AP? If so, throw it in the trash or upgrade to 1.07. I returned my AP because I was pi$$ed about the idle issues, even with the "stock map". Sorry, not interested in dealing with crap that Cobb should have ironed out in the first place. They shouldn't have released 1.06 with the MR issues.

Is your intake open element? The a/c fan blows hot air right to the intake so if it's open element with no heat shield the hot air will cause idle issues.
