My Buddy and I Installed the AMS Performance Intake on my GSR. Only mods are the AMS Intake and I flashed the appropriate Cobb map. I did not realize how loud the intake was and I think it sounds awesome!

It doesn't feel to much different than the stage 1 flash but definitely better than stock

with the video I heard the BOV more. With the intake installed you would hear the stock BOV more right? Does is matter what kind of intake it is or all aftermarket intake will my the OEM BOV louder.

 

It really makes a difference.....
I think with any open element intake you will hear it more. I also think you will hear a short ram intake a little more than compared to a cold air intake

 

i've had my AMS intake installed for about 3 months now... i did the DIY cone filter mod before i was able to purchase my AMS, and the AMS intake is far louder than DIY cone filter intake. I believe its due to the fact that the AMS intake moves the location of the BOV closer to the filter, and thus allows it to be heard more.

 

I have the AMS intake and LOVE it as well!

 

nice, you think that the Injen or AEM intake will be noticeable aswell? As far as BOV being noticeable?
