Just leave the lip spoiler for now. I'm sure there's someone out there that would be willing to trade you their SSS trunk and wing since shaving holes + adding an OEM lip spoiler costs more than just swapping you. As for the crome, it may not look as nice, but cleaning bugs and crap off will be much easier. If nothing else, just 3M CF pattern wrap them yourself

Get out there and break in you car already!

I think the lip spoiler looks pretty good. But I also think the chrome mirrors look pretty nice as well.

Wow, soo shiny and new. The blue looks so deep too. Very very nice. Congrats on the purchase. Yeah, the mirrors are a bit gawdy, but like the other guy stated nothing like 3m carbon fiber vinyl to give it a nice look.

I cant say much about insurance in FL but for 10 ww mr t I have travelers, and I pay 1600 for full coverage for 6months. It will go down soon enough coz no accidents/tickets so far and ive only had them for a year. They have quite a few discounts and for a "high performance vehicle" its not that bad compared to what i would pay for insurance from other companies.

You gotta keep in mind that insurance rates really are different depending on the person. I would suggest you to find an agent at a bank to hook you up with insurance. If you ask why, they just enter your information once and they see ALL the insurance offers from other insurance companies and you can just pick which one you want. For me; state farm, gieco and progressive wanted 1.9k for full coverage for 6months and travelers wanted 1.6k.

Other than insurance and paying for gas, you will enjoy everything and anything about the evo, congratz.

I say ditch the chrome and go black to blue... maybe having some chrome accent would look good though.

Chrome needs to go.

You also, and more importantly need to park waaay further away from other cars!

I pay 75 a month for full coverage 250$ deductibles and tow and rental car coverage. I have nationwide. But I am also 25, mitary, married, have a house, and clean record. But still worth a try to check out nationwide. Geico is usually on point with the lowest rate though.

Thanks all! So, for APR Vortex Generator, There are two on their list: one for GSR w/ SSS and one for MR or GSR base. Which will fit the SE?

Don't ruin the look with a vortex generator.. IMO that is the most "ricer" look ever. You car looks so nice right now.again my opinion.

Agree with the other guy that it looks great as is. A vortex generator will have 0 function unless they're angled like the FQ400's and even then, it won't work unless you have the SSS wing. If you really want one though, yours is the GSR Base.

Btw, Insurance rate is SUCKS in FL I'm with Geico and they charge me 1.8k for 6 month...(My RA was 900 back to TN) Any better choice out here?
checking with StateFarm, might get 130/mo, let's c =)

is not just the state of florida,
you are trying to insurance the most expencive car to insurance from all.
google it "the most expencive car to insurance in USA"
it's top one or two
a $90 k Z06 will be less expencive to insurance than an evo.
................
so you went to the dealer, got the car and didn't ask first how much is the insurance? have you ever ask your self why you don't see evos in the street, in florida?
lol
state farm can be kind of "convenient" for you if you agree to go for a $2000 of deductable
