its part of FUSE, so yes its new. the USB port is located in the center arm rest. im no expert but i would guess its integrated into the bluetooth and radio/nav so i dunno if adding it would be quite that easy...

Alot of the haters are going to be disappointed. There were so many people predicting no 2011 EVO I swear it's like they wanted it to happen or something. The 2011 is finally the car that should have been launched in 2008. USB and Fuse is nice as I would have probably stuck to the factory system if it had direct ipod capability.

Ah ha, I'm SO HAPPY that just picked the one of few limited SEs up several days ago!! It got everything I need for a lighter EVO X except for the heated seats. So I actually saved few thousand bucks from getting a 2011 MR base! I don't need the FUSE sys and the BBS means nothing to me since the OEM rims will go next year LOL. Btw, I personally hate leather stuffs . What u guys prefer, 2010 SE or 2011 MR base?

Swapped Octane Blue from GSR only to MR only. Interesting.

The only thing I'd like for my 2010 from the 2011 is the iPod compatibility.

for realz!

i like how the SST was supposed to broaden the demographic, yet they offered it in the MR, the more expensive trim. now we have the SE, along with its lower price, these things seem to be selling well. and for 2011 the MR loses the "premium" stuff which should also lower its base price. FINALLY they smarten up and realize a $40k mitsu isnt for everyone...

I'll copy and paste my response in the other site XD

Just wanted to give my input after thoroughly reading and comparing the new options based on what I've seen happen up here in Canada. Aside from what those packages have stated, I wanted to point out a couple of Mitsubishi's carefully selected wording in regards to what they actually WON'T come with.

The new Sun and Leather package for the GSR according to that list will NOT come with HIDS, but will be the heated FULL leather Recaro seats found on the 2010 Touring Model.

The base MR will now pretty much essentially mimic the Evo X SE as it will come with cloth Recaro seats and also without all that chrome. According to that list, the cloth seats will NOT be heated.

The Premium Package MR Recaro seats will be the half leather half suade seats found on the current MR's and they will NOT be Heated.

The only thing I can't wait for are for more GSR and MR's with sunroofs! Then maybe companies will finally make some CF vortex generators for us sunroof'd evo's. It's been 2 years since the release of the "touring" up here in Canada and no one has made one for us yet!

interested in the retuned exhaust as well, but not sure whether if it'd just be better to get 2010s for a lot cheaper. i think the only thing i'm interested in the 2011s is the leather/sunroof package. don't get me wrong, a retuned exhaust and fuse would be cool, but it's not something that i particularly need to have. in addition, i wouldn't need the leather seats to be heated since i'm in hawaii, so i'm kinda in a dilemma. i guess i'll just wait for pricing and see
