I REALLY need help D:

so on the way home from work tonight my car suddenly just slowed down. i was at a light and the check engine light came on and i obv dont kno what it was for. the car seems to be really sluggish i guess would be the best way to describe it, by that i mean i need to SLAM my foot to the floor to get any acceleration and not "evo acceleration" like 0-60 in like 10 seconds type acceleration.... ive also never really sat there and listened to my engine with the hood open but i did when i got home to see if anything is loose but its almost 1 and i cant see. it sounds like something is clicking idk if thats normal but can anyone help at all?!

Any mods on the car? Best bet is taking it to the dealer.

I guess the question i was asking is were you pushing her hard prior to your issues? Do a boost leak test and take some time to learn the sounds and personality of your car. Good luck.

You see any white smoke out your exhaust? Turbo could have gone out, idk though. Best bet take it to the dealer or tuner near you, or find a obdII scanner and see what the SES code is before you decide where to take your car

*update* its weird now for some odd reason it seems like its pulling harder then before but the check engine light is still on and no smoke at all from the exhaust. im going to bring it to awdmotorsports tomorrow get it checked out. Im thinking it might have gone into limp mode? or atleast thats what one of my buddies said could have happened.

To be safe, I would avoid pushing it too hard until finding the issue

It actually sounds like your MAF might be dead. Pull the error code to be sure. I had DTD P0102 and some other ones.

When my MAF died I was on WOT and had a huge backfire pop. Then the car basically ran like it had 0 boost. At a stop it would also idle at like 2K rpm.
