that sucks. I just hit a deer in my x going 70 on the interstate

 

whew....I'm always on the look out for them suckers. If I could help it, I'll have my Evo bob and weave like a boxing match and hopefully steer clear. We got a lot of deer over here in SD. Sorry about the car man....hopefully its not too bad on the insurance...if the paint isnt jacked it should be good with a paintless dent repair....

There seems to be a few "Bambi meets Evo X" adventures lately.

 

Insureance is not going up, because it wasnt my fault.

It was still dark out, so seeing a brown deer in the dark isnt the easiest.

It will need repainted. In the pics you can kinda see the paint chips.

 

Did you at least kill the deer?

 

Ouch! I feel your pain, the exact same thing happened to me in my old car. Deer took off my side view and destroyed my passenger door. I'm sure it hurts a lot more when its the Evo though


I would try filing an insurance claim. I'm not sure if you will be held liable since the deer technically hit you...?

luckily we dont get deer or wild animals roaming around vancouver

 

That definitely sucks. I've had a couple of really close calls - its especially bad this time of year since its dark to work and back.
