I love the 370Z. I'd take one but wouldn't trade my evo for one. Switch with me for a weekend. Mine makes a bit more power than a 370Z so you wouldn't be disappointed!

Alright ladies and gents.....I'm officially making the switch from the Z to the X (going backwards in the alphabet). I'm settling on a new '10 RR GSR w/SSS and interior port package. A local Mitsubishi dealer is bringing one it from another dealer in the same state, PA. I should have it by next weekend.....looking forward to it.

One question for ya'll. I noticed some X's don't have the intelligent key...or whatever you call it. What package is it included? I hope it's the SSS. At the dealer, it seemed like only the base GSR had the regular key.

I was actually sold on the car after I went off a highway (off ramp) at 80 without thinking about it and the active diff smoothly kicked the rear into a perfect drift. It was like a religious experience. There are very few times when a smile has been forced onto my face. It's also fun when hillbillies think their turbo diesel F-650 can waste another ricer.

Yeah, the Z really is a seasonal car; however, I had no problems with it in the winter. I just never drove it in extreme conditions like snow, sleet, and ice. But besides that, it held its composure pretty good for a RWD car in freezing weather.

I am exited to drive an AWD turbo car. This will be my first. So what's the best bang for buck first mod on this car? ECU reflash....via Cobb?

if you're buying your evo soon, get a winter set of tires/wheels. the traction is awesome!

a tune is definitely needed at some point, even if it's your only mod. but if you plan on doing a bunch of mods get ready to do a lot of research!

I don't think that'll be happening this year considering I just bought the car and put a hefty downpayment + trade-in. But maybe next year (just before winter) I'll by some winter rubber and purchase a more aggressive wheel+tire combo for the nice parts of the year.

did you guy the evo? i'm not sure what your winters are like, but don't rely on the stock tires during winter. it's just plain dangerous, even with AWD! edit, maybe you have a second car, in that case nevermind

Congrats on the X! I dont think you'll be disappointed besides the ****ty interior compared to the Z. Anyways, dont pick up the Cobb AP. I would say, intake ( turbo inlet + cone filter/drop in), test pipe/hfc and cat-back for your first few mods. Then pick up a tactrix 2.0 cable and reflash the car with maps you can find online (other forum).

Too bad I missed this.

I'm selling my mint Evo IX MR and I'm thinking about a 370Z. (I have an Evo X MR, not getting rid of that one!) We might have been able to work out a trade.

Umm...wouldn't you need a tune with what you're suggesting (intake + TBE) anyway? Personally, I think the AP would be the way to go.

Believe it or not but the EVO was almost 100 bucks cheaper than the Z.
