only when on really cold morning when i start my car up. it starts up then it seems to quiet down and almost like die on me then it picks it back up. anyone have this problem?

it also just went kaput on me once which scared the hell out of me. it hapened 3 times already to my evo. with 1.6k miles. im worried that this is the start of many problems +_+.

this is an evo x mr and i live in california which doesnt get as cold as other places.

 

Take it back to the dealership and get them to do a cold start test. I've had similar problems with other vehicles ad usually its the ecu programming that need up dating.

 

I had this happen once or twice when stock tune where I had to give it a little gas to get it to run correctly, but it wasn't repeatable. Almost always had erratic idle.

I got an AP after I'd had the car for 2 months and haven't had it happen since. I live in Vermont and don't have a garage yet, so lots of cold morning starts.
