Lost about $3500, but I think it was well worth it since the 08 had two accidents (deer hit was one) on it as well as all of the glass being replaced.
Love the heated seats by the way. Still trying to figure out the FUSE stuff.

mine is paid off too and i feel like the dealership might laugh at me if i try to trade mine in and tell them that i am only willing to give them $3500 on top of my trade. mine only has 7400 miles. interested on how the OP did it.
I just called the sales person I bought my car from.. and the answer is of course NO, he does not think 3500 difference will be able to purchase a new 2011 with a 2008.. He says that a 2008 with 10000 miles are sold for around 27000-28000 max. The trade in value is of course a lot less than that. He gave me a rough estimate of 8000-10000 dollars of differences to get a new 11'.
maybe he has really thick knee pads lol ..... seriously everyone loves to show off what a great deal they got (often mislead into thinking that) yet hates to admit they ever got raped(financially or sexually haha).... regardless OP isnt really telling the whole truth....
few years ago my friend bought and sold his 9se for very close to what he bought it for. a noob would say he lost almost nothing, but thats misleading as he lost the 7% tax, any doc fees etc
