What can this be?
Hey, so i was rushing out of the house and I get into my car. ( I always leave the car in gear when I park). So i turn the car on (its still in 1st gear) and I just release the clutch thinking the car was in neutral. My foot was on the break so the car just stalled on me without jumping forward. After cussing for a few seconds i fire it back up and go on my way to get some food.
Returning home i was parking and the car started to violently shake. My idle kept jumping. This has never happened before. Is this having to do with the earlier stall? or something different like spark plugs, cylinder misfire etc? Car is new 2010, 3000 miles on her. Never had an erratic idle before.

I don't think it has to do with your stall. Might just be random weirdness. I know that after some auto-x's my car idles like it has cams. If it doesn't come back and there are no error codes, I wouldn't worry about it.
check the vacuum hose next to the dipstick in the morning and make sure it isn't loose / popped off. Also clamp it down.
When I first got my ride, I randomly experienced these "shakes", sporadic rpm needle bounces, and what I thought were gonna be certain stalls at idle dead stop. No I'm not talking about the little jumps from the fans kicking in with the heater or ac.
Once I slapped an intake w/heat shield all became well. Def something with heat management.

yea i think this was all just a coincidence that it started happening after u stalled by accident. ive done this before as well before and til today ive had no problems. gl with this man
Thanks for your input guys. I checked all the hoses under the hood and everything is fine. Im not sure if this was a heating issue as it was 47 degrees outside when it happened. I didnt really get on the car too much either. Ill drive it today and hope it doesnt happen again. It wasent more of the erratic idle, it was just the car began to shake. I hate the feeling of "Hey...am i going to stall driving 22mph in second gear?"
