Buying an Evo X...
Well I have been looking at STi's on the internet for the past few weeks and I found one that I wanted. Red with navigation for a fairly decent price. We have been looking for daily drivers for my return to the states and I had already sold my '10 S4. I was not looking at Evo's simply because I told myself that I'd never own another one, purely because of the service etc.
I lied, but only because of the price. I was literally 6 hours from sending the payment for the STi. Anyway I talked to my cousin and found out he's getting his volvo XC90 back and his E92 M3 comes out of the shop soon, so he offered to sell me his Evo X for *drumroll* $17,500 or he was going to put it up for $29,500. The $17,500 is going towards his other projects and when I told him that I'd certainly pay him more he refused. He said think of it as a family discount.
Specs:
2009 Octane Blue Evo X GSR, SSS/AERO/Navigation, 19,000 miles.
-AMS FMIC
-AMS Piping
-Tune
-HKS cat-back
-HKS intake
-HKS EVC
-Do-luck trunk
-ENKEI RPF-1 18x10.5 with AD08's
-Stock wheels with blizzaks
-Stance Gr+ Coilovers
-Cusco Swaybars
-Exedy Twin-Plate HD
When I return to the states I'll pick it up, but I could NOT pass up this deal. It didn't matter what other car I was looking at to DD. This is a steal, my response to his e-mail was YES! I'll transfer the money to you ASAP. He's not a track guy, doesn't really care to beat on his cars, and I'm pretty sure it was well taken care of. He said he bought the FMIC because it was shinier than the stock one, if that tells you anything.
Anyway looking forward to joining the Evo X crowd, even though I don't plan on adding a single modification to the car.

sounds like the car was very tastefully modded, and I'm really jealous that an OB w/ navi just fell in your lap for that price.
I looked all over the place for one loaded like that. haha
