Shipping an EVO!!! HELP

After several months of lurking around here and reading about the Evo I finally pulled the trigger. Got a 2011 WW w/ SS. Now I need to get the car from SoCal to Oregon.

Plugged in the zip codes on a auto shipping website and the next day I had like 8 quotes to ship the car, anywhere between $575 and $700. Question is, what company should I go with? I have read a lot of positive and negative reviews on transportreviews.com about so many of the companies. Has anyone on here had a good experience with any company in particular???

Thanks in advance!

I used Cascade to ship my car from AZ to WA and the drivers had terrible customer service. I used them because they said they were the best in the northwest, but I would stay away from them. If you have the time, its really not that bad a drive.

I guess you don't want to fly out there and drive back? I know that's not what you asked for. Did you get the sl package? I want the leather interior bad.

Thanks for the heads up on Cascade, i'll be sure not to use them. I thought about driving, but for the sake of break in I figured it would be better not to sit on I5 for 10+ hours at 65mph

I decided against SL but did get the SS. Thought about getting the nav and SL but that s**t adds up quick. I'm sure the leather is nice though.

I used Global Logistics to move my Evo X from Sheps shop in Ohio to Tampa Fl. Cost me $700 door to door and had no issues with the service provided. http://www.carshipping.com/profile/1...llogistics.php

You don't need 10+ hours to break in, all you need is the first 20 miles

I used horseless carriage. No problems no worry and they move top end cars all the time. No problems reported from anyone at the time I moved my car. Also the price they gave me was good.

I've worked with American Auto Transport a couple of times and they did a really good job. Not sure how much that particular route costs tho.

Congrats on the new wheels. I've used Reliable and Horseless Carriage both without issue. (both were 4 and 7 years ago though, respectively)

I had an S2000 shipped with DAS from Phoenix AZ to Minneapolis MN.
The car took over 3 weeks to arrive, was estimated at 1 when it was dropped off.

Edit: The car arrived fine however. That was also Sept 2010.
