CBD hood questions

Im going to purchase the CBD hood that resembles the varis hood. Has anyone had any problems with this hood. My main concern is the huge openings in the hood. My car is a daily driver so it will see rain. Has this given anyone any problems. The other thing is I was looking into getting an ETS intake setup and it has a cone filter, but I dont want to purchase this if theres a chance it could suck up water. Let me hear about your experiences. Thanks

i contacted cbd about their hood, the rep I talked to was helpful. the rep said cbd doesn't believe in putting holes in the hood for the spray nozzles because it can cause structural problems down the road.

the solution he said is to buy wet arm attachments. they are nozzles that attach to the windshield arms. you probably need to relocate the tubing too.

i'm holding off on it for now because i'm not sure i want to deal with that hassle right now. it looks awesome though.

I have the Seibon CW style hood which is another replica of the Varis, and I haven't had any issues with the larger vents during rain, snow, etc. The Seibon comes pre-drilled for the nozzles.
