Just bought a WW 2010 EVO X SE!

Hey guys I am new to the evo world! I just recently bought a Wicked White EVO SE! I came from a 2009 STI and before that I had a 2006 WRX. I love cars and I think Subaru and Mitsu make some excellent cars but the handling on this thing is like no other! Mad thanks to Mike at Don Herring in Irving.

So the car has 40 miles on it now, any recommendations what to do first would be greatly appreciated. Obviously after the break in period.

I will try and get some pics up soon!

Congrats! Bought my SE from the same place and guy a couple of weeks ago. Mods? Cobb Stage 2, man. Or, do the Stage 1 and upgrade to a Stage 2 (or beyond) later. My car with less than 500 on the ODO is getting the Stage 3 aka 400s Kit as we speak.

Congrats on the purchase... what made you switch from a 2009 STi to a 2010 EVO X?

And first mod... get the Cobb... easiest thing you can do for the biggest gain.

I really appreciated the STI but I felt like I always wanted more! It was still a great car though. I have never owned an EVO and always wanted one since they came to the states. Not sure how much I am going to enjoy not having a clutch. But we'll see, I have heard people praise it and hate it.

I also bought a WW SE from Don Hearing. I am also a former Subaru STi owner. I had a 2004 in Java Black Pearl. This car is so much more refined.

Congrats.

As gforce said "more refined" but I still love both cars! If I had the money I would keep both! I liked the STI "grunt" feel. I just wish for the next model they would bring the 2.0 from Japan to the US models.

Questions:

1: Does the Navi support BT streaming from a phone?

2: On the SST does the car automatically downshift?

3: I noticed an off icon on the "up" shift paddle what does that do?

Sorry I am to lazy to read the manual just yet.

yes! the sst automatically downshifts which is awesome!! You can be in 4th and stop on a stopsign and the sst will do it for you if your in auto or manual mode.

Not sure on this one.

Yes, if you are in auto mode

Pull it back for a couple of seconds and it will switch back to auto mode as long as the gear shift is to the right (in auto).

Wouldn't you want to break the car in for at least 1k before any mods? Or at least 500 miles before getting on the turbo hard? Unless you meant 5,000?
