coming back to the evo communmity

hey guys i know 2011 may be the last evo, so i decided to buy the evo again.

have few questions regarding the options.

I will purchase the gsr with the leather and sunroof option for sure (sat in the car today love the seat!!!!) I need HID so the sight and soudn package will be 100% aswell.

does anyone have good picture to compare the car with and without the areo package?

and for these of ya'll have the mitsu Nav system how good is it or should i go after market for head unit.

and finally what is a good price for a fully loaded GSR?

Thanks

+1 on the aero kit. i would also like to see some pictures.

as for the navigation, if you go the MMCS route you can find them for less than half of what the dealer wants. its also really easy to install if you want to DIY. some of the aftermarket headunits are also really nice, just make sure you get the JDM dash kit, it looks the best IMO.

I hear you. I just want to to have any headache for warrenty purpose down the road. I may get the kenwood dnx series cuz i like garmin, and from what i read on the forum everyone seems to like the factory unit. It is a hard decision......

Aero kit is nice, but you car order a nice set of CF skirts and front lip for much less than the factory price on the aero kit. If you search you will find what you are looking for on the forums.

In the Evo x show and shine you will find what you are looking for.

The factory navi is okay but for the price you can find a very nice alpine unit. Since you are getting the SSS package might as well get the factory navi to save time and headache.

The Aero package sure does make the X's look great. I wish I had the opportunity to have add that feature before. As for the head unit, the Navi is pretty great and it looks good, but not for its retail price unless you find someone selling it at a reasonable price.

I've been looking for someone selling thier RR OEM Aero kit, but have failed on that conquest, so OEM CF it will be for me. Other wise, SSS/ Aero package w/Navi for you and you'll be just fine and dandy.

In reality i'm performance over looks, but I certainly wouldn't mind a few look good items. If you want to see an AS Evo X check out Evo X thread.

I have the OEM navi unit. It's a 2011 so it has FUSE. I like it overall, easy to use, enough functions for an OEM unit. Bluetooth works on it well, and you can control a bunch of other things like the number of beeps your car makes when you lock the doors, avg fuel consumption, altitude. If nothing else, it makes the inside of the car look less cheap. But if you feel that you would be better served with aftermarket navi, then go ahead and do that.
