Hey guys,

So I picked up an Evo SE because I thought I liked the 'sleeper' aspect of the look. No attention from kids in civics, under the radar of cops - but now that I had a few months I'm second guessing. The huge spoiler is part of the iconic look of the Evo and now when I see one roll buy I kind of regret not having that immediate road presence an evo-spoiler commands. No one even knows it's an Evo so I hardly get any comments (I do get a few though)

Anyone else having wing-envy? Or, in the opposite direction, anyone regretting getting the big spoiler instead of the lip spoiler?

( I know I shouldn't call it a wing, sue me )

 

I have a black SE. I love the low-key look, but like you said, I sometimes crave the street presence the high spoiler offers.

 

I think the X looks good with or without the big wing. Just as long as it's not that hideous small wing. IMO, the CT9A wing only looks good in some angles.

 

I love my do-luck style trunk. I ditched the wing so it would be more low key. Want the least amount of cop attention I can and I think it looks better on the Evo X.

SSS spoiler or Doluck...

 

You can't go wrong with either one. Personally I like the "big wing" look but you're still rocking a bad-*** machine.

 

I never really liked the big wing. I had mine removed and the holes filled and painted. I have a small carbon Fiber lip from rexpeed. I think it looks a lot better now.

 

I'm probably going to be taking mine off. I like it but think that I would like it better without. A small lip spoiler would look better IMO.

i used to prefer spoiler over lips but now i only want the do luck, im more into the low key look and i feel like it makes it look more aggressive

 

road presence? thats what bigass wheels and tires are for who needs a wing for road presence if you're rocking 10's!!!

 

Nope... love the look of my SE. The lack of the big wing on the car was actually a selling point for me. I may consider the do-luck at some point in the future though.

 

You all should envy my ability to block out bright headlights and not be able to see **** out of my rear windshield

 

Is that a cop car behind me? hard to see with this big wing...oh that's why he is following me!

 

Spotting cops w/o the wing is so much easier!!!I like the wingless look due to less attention but the buschur exhaust I am currently running makes up for it.....
