Take your pick!

Out of curiosity, to MR owners, do you guys use the paddles or full auto mode more when you DD your MR?

That is the most ridiculous comparison. Do you realize neither one of those resemble a street driven vehicle, other than 4 wheels? No one is claiming the Dual clutch tranny autos are inferior. My opinion and no one elses...it's just more engaging, more fun to drive a manual. Just because F1 uses autos doesn't mean it's more fun or engaging. I guess you're missing the point of driving if you're using that comparison as to why DCT is better than manuals. So let me guess. You race for a trophy/podium everytime you drive your MR/SE. Absurd.

I would totally do it again! I already have a 5 speed pontiac sunfire. I don't need another 5 speed. If it had been a six speed manual would have done it in a heart beat. The thing is this on the highway the GSR is way to f***ing loud. It needs the sixth gear. Get an MR problem solved. Also I like the fact that there are not that many MR tourings out there.

As many have mentioned you have to drive the car and see what suits you. I love the fact that for under $45K I have a dual clutch transmission. Similar to what is found in supercars, you can't beat that. So I was sold. Mind you I drove both the MR and the GSR. I found the 08 MR SST to be rather harsh so I waited til 2010 to pick it up. Whatever Mitsubishi did from 2008-2010, the SST is leaps and bounds better in the 2010 than the 2008 MR models.
