Question regarding increasing boost..

Hello all, I'm getting getting tuned next week and was going to install a manual boost controller beforehand. I was just curious what psi the community suggests to run?? Along the lines most efficiency in both gas mileage and performance, but also at a safe level as my car is daily driven. Mods currently are just a turbo-back exhaust and a perrin filter. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks, Nick

I run 26psi. Mods are in the signature. With just a turboback and filter, I'd guess you'd get between 280-300whp depending on what dyno and temperature is.

I agree, especially since I have one The stock boost solenoid is perfectly fine though all the way up to about 28psi. Either way your tune should tapper down on boost as it goes to redline for safety.
