Once the wing is removed, the oval holes have black plastic clips, do these get removed as well or do they stay in the trunk lid?

Also for those who went to the hardware store and got plastic plugs, anyone have any sizes, ex. ?

Thanks for the help. The car looks great with the lip spoiler and no wing, IMO. Also debadged the trunk tonight, looking pretty sleeperish.

 

I would imagine that if you have a body shop fill your trunk they would remove the plastic clips as well.

 

Nevermind. Found the answer after digging deeper into older threads.

For those who stumble on this later....... What I did was pull up the corners of the plastic plug insert torwards its center with surgical clamps, then when they were bent up I used vise grips to pull them out.

To cover the holes, I found nylon stickers at Home Depot, outdoor bathroom stickers (lol), they are metalic silver, I will be cutting out the circles and paiting with touch up paint.
