What do you guys think of this X? Looks like it has Rockford emblem by the radio but says xenon headlights. Plus the exhaust, intake, and BOV are not stock from what I can tell. Anyone know anything else about this?

Well, it also has the big spoiler so I think the dealer just doesn't know of the SSS package.

Ask for a picture of the trunk and you'll know if it's got the package or not.

Looks good but I bet you that you could haggle them down a decent amount.

 

has an AMS intake, who knows what else was done to it, even with that 22k is pretty low

 

I just live so far away I was hoping someone closer might know more. I just don't want to get myself into trouble if the mods were not done right or have much detail about the car.

I would also be trading in my RA which I'm really getting attached to. It runs perfect and has a lit less miles but it might be worth it. Payments would actually be about the same except I would be going from a 5 yr to a 6 yr loan.

For 23 grand i think thats a good deal! considering nothings wrong with the car.

 

Thanks for the input what I will do is call the dealer and see if the car has any issues and then if that checks out and someone is local I may see if they can check it out.

 

price is good but i always steer away from buying modded cars because they've usually been beaten on.

 

Are you worried that they are not HID headlights? They definately are just by looking at the projectors.

 

Okay that was one of my worries it was hard for me to tell looking at the pictures. The other worry was touched on about the aftermarket stuff. Any way to tell if it has been tuned other than driving the car and seeing that the boost is higher. Are those defi gauges? I don't even know what exhaust that is. Yeah price is great but I don't want to get a headache with it.
Just seems like all of the good deals are on the far east or west and I'm stuck in the middle lol.

for that price with the mods, i would do it. And with the money you are saving, take it to the nearest tuner. Have you test drove it yet? And do you know if the car will come with stock parts?

It looks like the car has a turbosmart blow off valve... how does that sound?

 

I wanted to post on here to get more information because I'm so far away I can't just go for a test drive. If the guy used quality parts and it is a one owner maybe I could be in luck. If anyone local has time and can go by that is probably a out the only way I would feel comfortable going through with it. I will just see I'm sure others will pop up I'm not in a rush at all. I still love th RA I just thought if I could upgrade for about the same monthly payment why not.
