I had the same problem with my Itouch ( also OS4) . You can turn on the bluetooth and play it that way. Works great, but not as much control.

cars getting looked at monday thankfully, car seems fine. doesnt seem as fast as my 04 sti was when it was stock but after a few mods i feel that it will be able to keep up.

but im going to try using bluetooth for the iphone to play music.

Keep us posted on the what the issue was. 150 miles would be no good to have bad problems. Hopefully they're something small.
