Hey everyone,

So I know there is a nice big checklist out there for things to get done at certain mileages(15,000 45,000 60,000 etc.) but what REALLY needs to get done. I haven't tracked mine yet.

I called the dealer and he said all they really recommend is an engine flush they do. He recommends it every 15k and only runs about $150. I'm also getting an oil change. But since I don't track it is there any other things I should have them look over? I do some "spirited" driving, but nothing major.

Wondering same thing, i'm about to hit 15k. On my own i'm changing my air cabin filter for ac, getting my battery tested at advance auto parts, and an oil service at kwik kar where they top all my fluids and check fluids like differentials and transmission, new AMSOIL oil and filter, belts check etc.

 

Engine flush?? Yea, I do not think so............ While the manual says to do all of the major fluids at 30K I would do them at 15K intervals. Mine is a daily with NO racing of any kind and at 30K the fluids were disgusting. Do yoursel a favor and do not take it to the dealer.......they have absolutely no idea of what they are doing. Find a performance shop that is familair with the EVO and they will do a far better job, know the car, and be a lot cheaper than the dealer.................good luck

 

tranny fluids, tcase, rear diff, engine, i would do brakes and coolant also, maybe AYC unit its up to you though
