Im torn between Borla catback and HKS hi power :S Not sure if the cops will babble about the borla but they are fine with the HKS hi power dual cat back where I am at.

Odds are you wont find an HKS HI-POWER unless its used. They become extremely rare since hks shut down in the US. It was my first system and was never a fan of the big fart canisters. I'd go with Perrin, ETS, Bushur, or if you REALLY want to be a baller tomei expreme

I have a custom single exit straight pipe which was pretty damn loud and i was never bothered with it on...it spits flames and everything =P i want to cut off the muffler i have now and find a gutted one so i can be a true stright pipe and so i can keep the canister look. That set up is for when i take it to the track so i have the best flow

And then for style and looks I Just pulled the trigger on the CNT duel canister setup with the blue tips ERZ Industries hooked it up with a sick price

I am thinking about selling the stright pipe though... PM me if your interested

Thanks!

I went with the single exit and Michael was very helpful. ETS has great customer service in general. Heres the link to my exhaust. The videos are of my car as well.

ETS single exit, downpipe (open o2 dump) and test pipe. I will never get sick of this exhaust couldnt be happier!!!

I just bought my GSR and I've been scowering youtube for sound clips. That in conjunction with the reviews here on the board I think I'm going to go for either the ETS v2 quiet, or the ETS v2 normal. Quality and attention to detail are extremely important to me, and every review I've seen has mentioned great things about ETS.

any1 has any suggestions for dual turbo backs? I've been doing some search and most people are going with just cat backs and downpipes instead of a str8 turbo back. Any specific reason why? Thanks to GTBullet I wont grab a part from a company that is no longer in the US lol.

The sound I am looking for is near Borla catback.

No prob dude! If you're going for the dual look, here's a video clip of my X demonstrating the sound from my Perrin.

To me its one of the best sounding systems out there for the X.

I've had the borla cbe on my MR and, in my own honest opinion, its too loud if you do a full turbo back. Just the CBE alone was loud. I think it was louder than my Tomei that I have on now (w/ AMS DP and HFC). Just my opinion though. If you're gonna get a full TBE then I would go with AMS for the Test Pipe and Dowpipe and get a dual CBE that will not be too loud.

A straight TBE is kind of loud, but it is glorious.
