It's showing the work that the S-AWC is doing.. which wheel it is helping out, etc.

From Mitsu's website.. You need to search a little bit
"Got some control issues? Mitsubishi understands, and the Lancer Evolution is here to help. There’s nothing like the feeling of a totally responsive vehicle at your command. Which is just the experience Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) provides. A combination of Mitsubishi’s All-Wheel Control and Active Yaw Control, S-AWC directs engine torque to the outside or inside rear wheels depending on available traction. Three driver-selectable modes allow S-AWC to adapt to various driving surfaces. The result is superior cornering, acceleration and safety that puts you just where you like to be, in control."

another old RA buddy! congrats! and welcome to the evo world

Question tho
-Why is your hood scoop all black?
-Why is the side fender mesh black? thought MRs were color matched.
-Why isn't there a silver lining on your front bumper?

did they change the looks of the 11's?

I noticed that too. I'm guessing base MR doesnt get the chrome/color matched pieces.

Not sure why the fender mesh is like that but the CF hood scoop was something I added on from my OLD RA.
