I really hope it works out for you, but I am highly skeptical, it has been almost 2 days and the auction is still up.

If I was you I would call and ask why it hasn't been taken down yet.

Ha! A 550-860whp X and reliability don't go in the same sentence. Go to the other X forum to see how things like this hold up. Regardless, if this is your DD, a heavily modded 3-owner X is one of the last cars you should be looking at. A new one is a different story.

I seriously doubt the validity of this car from the lack of communications you are saying. I also doubt the HP numbers. If your selling a car like this your going to show a real dynograph.

Thanks for the response guys. I have filed a claim thru paypal. They said they can't guarantee anything because it's a vehicle purchase. Luckily the funds hadn't transferred from my bank yet, so I can cancel thru them.

Contact your bank immediately and tell them to stop any transfers to PayPal until further notice.

You should of used the deposit money to take a trip out to where the car is, see it for yourself and have some one check it out for you as well. My boy wanted an Evo8 from Michigan and he flew out from NY with no run around from the owner what so ever and he bought it and drove the car back to NY!! its a scam they prob used your deposit to help pay for the new turbo..hope everything works out for you!!

Reason why I don't buy large tickets items off Ebay or anything for that matter.

Its a real shame that scammers are still able to get away with this type of junk. Its even worse that when reported you get some BS from paypal and ebay about how you should have verified the transaction first. Then you get that canned line about we dont guarantee return of payment....there needs to be more responsibility throughout society as a whole. At least paypal is getting a taste of its own medicine now that the hackers group anonymous has targeted them. Probably a bit hypocritical on my part to root for the criminal hackers against the criminal corporations but oh well.

Quoted from the ad:
"This Mitsubishi Evolution X was purchased right off the showroom floor!"

It's a 3-owner car. Maybe he means originally purchased off the showroom floor by someone else.
