How many miles on your 2008?

Hey guys, I'm looking at a 2008 with around 40K miles. I just wanted to see how many miles you guys/girls have on your 2008 and if you have run into any issues? What things as far as maintance should I check to see if it has been completed?

What makes me feel better is that they include a 72 month/100K mile power train warranty and a 3000 mile/3 month bumper to bumper.

~37k here, just had the transfer case replaced under warranty, it was leaking. Also, had to replace the CMC, but if you ever upgrade clutch you'll have to as well.

Wow whats up with the transfer case? Is that something that would be considered part of the powertrain? If it was replaced under warranty at 37K must be.

11k here. Only problem here is my tires love nails. Other than that, its been all gravy. Factory overfill in the t-cases kills them like the plague.

'08 with almost 32k miles now. No problems.

1. Check the fuel relay to make sure they upgraded it.
2. I would do the 30k mile service just to make sure it was done and for peace of mind.
3. Tires need to be replaced at about 10k miles, although that wouldn't apply to you.
4. You could check the fpr hose and see if they put a zip tie on it.
5. Check to see if it was modded..

that's about it.. I don't know why the first posters had tcase problems.. that's not a known problem, but like the OP said, some were overfilled from the factory..

From the pics I have seen the engine, exhaust, and suspension are stock. The shift knob and tail lights are not. The drop in filter even looks stock. Engine looks super clean. Tomorrow if they offer me what I want for my ralliart and they go down a little I will hopefully be picking it up Saturday. If not I will keep looking.

Did the clutch just wear out and had to be replaced or other issues?

Just hit the 18k mark. The only problem I had so far was the CMC broke so I replaced it with the SSP Ver. 2 CMC but that was it no other problems. But my car is modded thats why it went.

Thanks for the additional replies sounds like for the most part things have been going well for everyone.

A question for the guys with navigation. Is it accurate? Does it do voice turn by turn and say the street names?
