next to the original grip tape knob.

So main differences:
the heavy is 520g compared to the grip tape that weighs in at only 220g--The grip tape feels like a toy in your hand when holding the Heavy in the other. it is crazy how much of a difference there is.

Next difference is the location change of the logo. Instead of right in YO FACE! like the grip tape, the heavy weight puts it around the thread ring as seen in the pics above.

Shifting difference: I thought that the grip tape took almost all the notchiness away if not all, well with the heavy it is without a shadow of a doubt the best shifting experience so far, slides into all gears like butta.

Now they sent a gray-ness heavy knob instead of a black grip tape knob....whats the difference? well the color...obvi...but the texture. The gray-ness comes smooth while the grip tape comes textured for...well grip. I prefer the grip tape texture more for autox and such but the gray-ness does not get hot.....period. Fortunately to make your choices easier the gray-ness heavy is not yet for sale (i believe).

10/10 build quality. i really looked for a flaw in craftsmanship but again just like the grip tape, it is flawless
9/10 feel in hand. it feels GREAT! but could be just a few mm bigger ball, that is for my hands though, so results may vary. It is exactly the same diameter as the grip tape knob.
9/10 vanity design. Color is awesome, and while the logo of the grip tape quickly grew on me, to be fair i am giving this a 9 since in the gripe tape review one of my complaints was the logo.
10/10 weight. Any heavier would be to much, and it is the perfect weight to compliment quick shifting.
