I have the Synchronic DV, great bov, no compressor surge. It isn't loud, but I went for function more than sound.

BOV's do not cause compressor surge, you're confusing surge with BOV flutter.

i brought the dv already. cause it size smaller and can install either push or pull type or vta! it will help the flutter!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't compressor surge normally caused by the bov not being able to vent quickly enough, thus causing flutter, or if a bov is too tight and not opening all the way therefore backing up back to the compressor?
