should i be weary?
So that is 28k Canadian? If so, then it's even a titch high in the US and so this seems expensive unless it has a bunch of mods you want that would warrant the cost. Like, maybe it had a set of brand new Volks in the trunk, or the engine was nicely modded, and the hesitation you noticed was the Stage 2 cams, lopey and such....maybe, maybe not...
Tom Masano dealerships are kinda crooked, they make up prices and never list the actual mileage on their cars. There is a reason they have like 40 evos on their lot, it is because of their outrageous price hikes and shady as hell sales people who try to swindle you.
They sell new evo's at 36000 when you can go to Fred Beans or Quakertown mitsubshi and get a new 2011 32000 otd.

The recall is no big deal. I actually had mine done yesterday along with the hood release cable being replaced. The car runs no differently and bkth recalls took about an hour and a half. The idle issue is probably the tune.
Maybe try negotiating to get them to fix the dents and work on the price. You would save enough over new to get it running well through a tune.

I'd stay away from this dealer, all together, they are PSin dents out in their ads? You already know they're not honest, I'd wait and find a perfect one if you have 30k you wanna spend
