Just leave the man alone, it's his car and if he likes it then fine, your opinion won't change how he feels other than sad because people on the forum are being asshol*s to him. It's an Evo and only 30 lb heavier than the regular one and drives basically the same.Originally Posted by FJF
If all that is of utmost importance, why buy a Mitsubishi Evolution? I mean, the MR-T still has the same hard, brittle plastics covering its interior as every other X, still has the creaks and rattles driven by the same, still has the small-displacement turbo motor that needs to be kept on the boil, still has the relatively unforgiving suspension,...but...with a few superficial touches of luxury and a whole lot of weight. It's not a luxury car, and it's not an adrenalin pump. Talk about a lack of focus.
Now back to the original topic (after the thread was hijacked)
Simple answer is no there aren't any. You have a choice of GSR or MR (in the US). Same power, the only differences are in that MR has a dual clutch transmission, lighter brake rotors, name brand springs and name brand struts.

Yelling at a guy who has had his account disabled is like making funny faces at Helen Keller ... maybe you feel better, but it will have no actual effect on anyone else.

isn't the rotor glow a special edition you can't find it for sale in canada. plus I've never seen one

I'm thinking that this thread has run its course. The answer is Yes, the Stealth Fighter wasn't made by Mitsu, and specific colors don't count as "special editions" to most people. I won't close the thread, but let's raise the threshold for keeping it going, OK?

Each and everyone persons Evo thats not stock is special. Every Evo with a paint job, custom parts, custom wheels is special. If you think about it the Evo is what you want it to be. When people buy Evo's they tune them and build them to their liking. Originally Posted by Kartyman550

The fact is there are no "Special Edition" Evo X's as of yet. Its not to say its not possible in the future but it seems unlikely that Mitsu is planning anything, MAYBE the last year of the X's right before the XI's but even thats a long shot.

The Evo X SE - where SE = special edition - is the version with the SST and Billies from an MR, without the silly leather seats, etc. It is aimed at those who want to mod the car for road racing, such that they'd be tossing the seats, radio, etc, anyway.
This is why I said the answer to the original question was Yes.
Arguing about whether the colors available in the 51st state count as "special" is one thing, but let's get the correct answer to the actual question.

okay buddy you are now so far from reality its not even funny. were talking special editions not modded eves. and I'm pretty sure its been discussed at length in the thread that yes in fact there is a SE from 2010Originally Posted by Maz

The point I was trying to make is Evo's customized and tuned by shops that have nothing to do with :Mitsu: don't fall under "Special Edition"Originally Posted by Kartyman550
