how can this happen ???
Now for the reasons behind my answers to your simple and so obvious question of 'How can this happen???!!!' You're melting plugs, comon causes of this are high EGTs due to a lean condition or abnormally low timing.
The fuel injectors are part of your fuel system. If they're malfunctioning you will go lean. By servicing them you will see it that is your problem. The Evo Xs had fuel pump relay issues. The fuel pump relay is also part if the fuel system. If it is malfunctioning you will have fuel delivery issues and you will go lean (or not run at all). The fuel pump is also part of the fuel system. If it is malfunctioning you will not have the fuel supply necessary and you will go lean.
If your timing is to low your EGTs will be high, which can cause spark plugs to melt. Hence a proper tune rather than an off the shelf AP tune. Also, by going to a tuner you would have the bennifit of someone with a clue looking at your very simple problem and solving it easily, rather than you running to the internet and crying over an issue that you could've found the answer to by using the search feature on this site.
I hope my response here helps you understand my earlier post. If you need hep sourcing that gasoline or lighting a match to do the world a favor, let me know.
Yes, go wash everything with gas then dry it with a match. Then repete the process on your ********* so you can spare the world the insult of breeding.

its a
thing
IMO, your dealership is pure fail.
You took it to them multiple times complaining of abnormally BAD mileage. (Less than 11 miles per gallon). And they told you it's normal and to wait it out. strike 1.
Then you go back tot he dealership and they show you your pulled plugs with melted diodes and don't do anything about it? [b]strike 2[b].
Look, something is f'd up with your car. None of us have seen this on a car with such low miles and a factory tune. Getting another tune is NOT going to fix this like others have suggested. Factory cars with no mods and no tune DO NOT melt spark plugs unless something is seriously f'd up.
Demand that ****ing dealership repair or replace the car! I would call the rep back at
and tell them you're furious about it and want a replacement or you'll see them in court. If you get no where with that, take your car into the dealership MORE times, and start looking up lemon law of your state. I'm willing to bet it's around 7 times for the same issue.
As I've been saying the whole time with your car, something is f'd up. This just proves it in spades. Normal Evos do NOT do this.
