well my hands tend to sweat alot, hot or cold, depending on my body temp i guess, but it gets tough to drive comfortably sometimes...i just need something to keep a good grip on the wheel while cruising around town

$10 at your local gun shop you should be able to get some generic "shooter" gloves. I only know them by this name.. but it's just a second skin to insure no hand/finger slip during trigger pulls. only complaint is that while they mitigate heat and slipping, my hands sweat like a b**** inside the glove. though to be fair, last time I wore them outside it was 135 fahreinheit ambient. lol

but, it beats having my finger slip and miss my target, or worse... having my hand slip on the wheel at speed trying to making a turn or some s**t.

yeah the mechanics are pretty comfortable and go for about $10-$20 as well. You can pick some up at any auto store, walmart, kmart, target......

OP said driving, not racing

+1 for mechanics gloves.. don't keep your hands very warm in the winter, but they give a modest grip and provide much more flexibility than bulky cold weather gloves.

I'm sure race gloves and fingerless driving gloves work great, but ya might look like a d-bag wearing them in warm weather on the streets

For track days, maybe. For daily driving, you'll be ridiculed.

Sometimes when I drive my civic up in the hills i throw on a pair of deerskin gloves. There's nothing quite like the feeling of hitting Vtec with dead deer on your hands.

And driving around with a huge wing which serves no purpose while daily driving doesn't make you look like a d-bag?

Why the hell would you need one if you had a Maybach? What difference does it make?

I wear leather gloves while driving daily because I have sweaty hands.

You wouldn't even need to wear gloves to look like a d-bag.

Step 1. turn on AC
Step 2. point vents at hands
Step 3. enjoy dry-palm driving without douche gloves

For the street, I totally agree. On track, its more of a safety issue. Plus, no ac on the track :-)
