installed a greddy SE this past weekend and fit and finish is really great but was a bit of a let down on the "grumble" department. sounded juuuusst a tad louder than stock. looking forward in installing a HFC.

I ordered my exhaust yesterday for my X and I got a AMS widemouth downpipe with AMS test pipe and a dual HKS turbo back exhaust. But that's just me. If I were you, I'd check out a few vids on youtube and listen to some and see what you like. It's all personal preference after all. Well, until you get in the 600+ Whp and Wtq range lol.

I have full ETS with the V2 muffler and I love it. Everyone compliments it as well.

thanks for all the posts and reviews.

So with many thoughts and research, I've come to the ETS V2 quiet and hope this works out for me.

Soon I'll have pics posted to share my goodies.

Thanks again.

Don't think anybody suggest the Buschur Cross Flow. It's what I'm going with. I was going with Magnaflow, but didn't want the 2.5 neck down.

I don't have it on yet. Check youtube. I've heard a lot of really good things about it.

Letsoner: I think you will be very happy with the ets

RRE's stealth exhaust is prob the way to go for CA. Otherwise, ETS V2 Quiet, if you want something more visible (while still being less audible than other aftermarkets).

I'd have to second the Akrapovic. I'm running the full exhaust with down pipe and it's definately one of the quietest exhausts you'll find. I just had the car at Laguna Seca which has a 92db sound limit and I didn't triggering the sound meter at WOT. I know the cost is not what most would call reasonable but youll probably feel guilty putting it under your car once you see the build quality.

I love the build/quality of the Akrapovic, but it is 4k+ so if you have the budget, go for that, but if you want something little more budget friendly, I recommend the HKS Legamax. It's very quiet at lower RPMs, but sounds throaty at higher RPMs.

Are you planning on running a test pipe with the exhaust? If you are, consider a resonated test pipe, it gets rid of the annoying drone noise, and it looks like you have a high flow cat etc.

I recommended ETS quiet.

I have AMS downpipe, AMS highflow cat and ETS quiet. it sounds deep but not too loud. a bit louder than stock but not really mad and draw attention from cops, especially if you're in CA like me.
