I have a 2011 with 9800 miles and the PS pump is making a whining noise so I'd like to bring it to Mitsu and see if they will warranty it if it needs to be replaced. You guys think intake, full exhaust and an intercooler would have any effect on having a PS pump replaced?

 

It will most certainly be more difficult than if you were completely stock. They will point the finger to mods and blame them for anything even if they have nothing to do with each other. It all depends on the dealer and the rep you deal with really.

 

Only if they can prove that is what caused the problem. But yeah what he said ^

Depends on you dealership if there mod friendly
If you take your car in they may have to have a "warranty guy" from
Mitsu come lok at it and as far as I know any type of mod with them
Is a no no
I know this because I got my warranty voided due to similar mods as you.
But then again they might just replace it without have the rep come out to look at it

Also if your car is tuned I would reflash it to factory before taking it in
