Exclamation Who wants to take SERIOUS winter build on?

*Edit* I just realized I botched the title... Meh, I'm smrt!

I'm purchasing a 2012 gsr in the new year and I'm looking to have a build done over the winter. Unfortunately for me I live in Atlantic Canada. We have one tuner shop here that is run by a 50 year old european who does nothing but smoke and steal. So with that being said I'm looking at making this a bit of a creative journey. I'd be willing to drive the car to ANY shop in the states that can give me what I'm looking for. I don't work, I'm retired... Time is not an issue as long as it's done before the summer.

I have no issues promoting a good shop with the vehicle.

What I'm looking for:

I have a budget, but I would like to stay around the $35,000 mark. I'm open to going higher for the right work.

This is NOT a daily driver. Although if I feel like taking it on the streets I would like to be able to do so.

I'm looking for unique work, I don't want to see a hundred bolt ons.... If I wanted that I would just do it myself.

and lastly, I was disabled in Afghanistan in 2009, and driving is the one thing I can still do without pain. It has always been my passion to own an Evo. You're not just building a car for some kid, you would be fulfilling my dream.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, I'll be looking forward to hearing from you guys.

Show me your plans!

If you want to send me a PM I'll give you my personal contact info.

I would suggest calling up CBRD in Pennsylvania. They are a GREAT shop and do unbelievable work. I'm sure they can help you with anything no problem.. They just might be busy. I know STM is a good shop. E-Spec is a place I hear good reviews from.

We would also love an opportunity to earn your business sir, it gets rather cold here in the winter and I can't think of a better way to spend our time than building you a monster of an Evo X I'm not aware of another shop in the country that has the capability to do more in house than what we offer

I'm getting my hd camcorder tonight from bestbuy to start the video journal. God I love impulse buying! I'll start a new progress thread in January.

I have nothing against Canadian shops... I just don't want to drive through Canada again. Looking to make my old lady happy with a trip to the states.... 2 birds with one stone.

CBRD, MAP, AMS or ETS would all be excellent choices in the northern US.

Plus, it's really nice that these guys are always on the forums here, and are sponsors of this community

I'll be looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with.

STM. Parts are cheaper here and they do great work. Check out the pic gallery on their website and look at previous builds they've done and posted on here.
