In general the interior feels decent, not ridiculously cheap (the leather seats help and the piano black thing seems a bit nicer than the faux carbon fiber stuff) but not as nice as you'd expect for a $40K car. E.g., the glove box has started to rattle a little after 40 miles (but I wasn't surprised since I've been reading this forum for months and didn't buy the car for interior fit and finish). That said, there are some things I feel like they did well like the information screen between the dials is quite cool, the navigation/sound system is quite feature rich, and the one touch open and tilt moon roof was a pleasant surprise.

So net, net the interior gets a B-/B from me but so far, the driving pleasure appears to be A- (I've not taken her above 5K RPM as per the break in period so expect to give her an A after break in). I'm also getting the bra and flaps this week so leery of throwing up rocks and stuff.

I think I could have gone either way with a slight pref for the black. Here's another skanky pic using my phone in poor lighting condition (will post more accurate pics with slr in a couple of weeks).

One thing that def sucks about the black inserts is they show every piece of dust and finger print so you def need to wipe them down weekly to stay tip top.

your interior is just like mine! and yes, fully agree that the black inserts show everything. even when i'm washing the car, i have to use a cloth that doesn't leave lint/dust or else it sometimes looks worse!

congrats for the new car!
I wish i can afford an evo MR for a dd, for me. And that definitely would be your trim and color!
For dd the gray and the SST , sun roof , nav , nice wheels etc.- no wing is a beauty!

enjoy it!

Nice car man. I still don't know how I feel about the paddles thought! I think this is a color that needs to be professionally shot or seen in person.

<---Wouldn't of flipped you off.

It's nice that there are a few friendly Subie owners out there. I get "snubbed" by them all the time.

Great looking car. I forgot how much a X with the stock suspension looks like a truck! Haha.

It's funny, because I truly love both cars and will definitely own an Evo sooner rather then later, but I experience it the complete opposite. Evo owners around me are almost universally Dbags.

Congrats to all of you who've met nice Subie owners lol... all the STI people I find local act like pure punks... even a few Evo owners at times... u try to say hi and they either ignore you or give you a face

Congrats on ur brand spanking new MR!

I still don't know how I feel bout the MG though... I had a GG Ralliart and still find that color amazing under the sunlight... I'd have to see this one in person...

Man the wingless look is really growing on me don't know what to do with my wing lol... with the Wing looks wicked, but without it looks grownup...

i didnt read the whole thread but congrats on a beautiful car.

do yourself a favor and have it detailed by a reputable detailer as a baseline... alot of new cars have rail dust, and other contaminants from the shipping process that you should take care of now...id clay it, maybe a fine polish, and seal.

the detailers at dealerships are retards.

consider a clear bra!
