ETS Intercooler Kit

Well I finally pulled the trigger and purchased the FULL ETS Intercooler Kit from ETS themselves! Got an awesome military discount

Now will I be able to install this on my own OR will i need to take it to my tuner? Not sure how much they will charge me to install it. My mechanical skills are limited

Sounds easy enough lol. But if I did take it to a shop how much do you think they would charge?

they will charge you labor only since you have the parts. depends on what the labor rate is there. my guess would be approximately three hours or so.

My concern is the lower intercooler piping. I saw the instructions to remove the FMIC and the LICP seems to make that bend and disappear? I'm a noob

honestly its the easiest thing to do. hardest part is "ripping" the bumper off of the clips. I say do it yourself, spend the labor money on more parts and get to know your car!

I would do it myself. It's an easy bolt on project. Taking off the front bumper requires 10mm socket, a screwdriver and about 20 min if it's your first time.
To take of the the IC pipes it's just loosening the worm clamps of the couplers with a Phillips screwdriver. The undertray is 6/8 10mm bolts and some plastic clips. Time consuming but not hard.

Hope this helps

First step to becoming mechanically inclined is taking on a project like this. I say do it yourself.

install it yourself. Just follow the how-to guides on the forums and you will be fine. I'm going to say it will take 2-3 hours, so roughly $200-300 to install. You could buy a intake or something with that money.

Id say do it yourself too, the guides on here are fantastic and youll learn more about the car. As others have said youll also be able to put the money saved towards other things. Just print out a guide and spend some time in the garage, itll feel much more rewarding
