It's always a good idea to have a wideband if your going to put aftermarket parts on your car.

With that being said there is plenty of good widebands out there. AEM is very popular, I'm sure others will chime in.

The ets test pipe is loud hell. I have that with the ets v2 and I want to pick up the high flow cat just to tone it down a bit. I am saving up for the AEM wide band though. Not to jack the thread but while we are on the topic would others recommend getting the bung on the test pipe if you alread have an extra bung on the down pipe? Whould having two extra bungs be necessary for anything else(One on the test pipe or HFC and one on DP)?

Those look like imitation Defi guages...AEM is the way to go I think if your looking for a quality digital wideband guage...as for the tune...is it needed no...in a perfect world you want to tune...

get the aem uego wideband. It's easy to install. As long as you connect to a power source that shuts off when the car is off, you will be fine.

Only thing tune wise you will need is to turn the stock o2 sensor off. Some people get a CEL, some dont. I personally had one pop up about 10km after i installed my resinated tp, had my buddy with evoscan to turn the sensor off. Some people say get a tune for the new pipe, some dont. I never did and never had any issues, i tracked my car a few times with no issues. Thats why you should get a wideband AND boost gauge, to keep an eye on those 2 things.

Just have to ask but I thought that installing a WB in the downpipe was always the best for reading and not the test pipe/hi flow cat?

correct. I put my wideband in the tp at first, it was really pretty accurately but the sample rate was off, it wouldnt do the constant changing back and forth while crusing. Ended up switching it to the dp once i got the ams dp and it works perfectly.
