I just hit 600 miles on the odometer last night and it's like the car turned into a werewolf (in a good way). I am thinking the ECU had some kind of limiter since the thing revs higher and faster than before (or at least feels like it). I remember the dealer saying Super Sport mode on the MR wasn't accessible till you passed 600 miles. I wonder if other governors were in place as well.

On a serious note, I have never heard of a such limiter. Maybe its something new they added in 2012's? I pulled out of the dealer in sport mode and the third time I drove the vehicle was in super sport mode till I realized its pure stupid to drive in super sport unless you are at a track and you really want the ECU to control your shifting. In automatic that is... Sport/S-Sport Manual all day long

 

Just wait until you unlock Super-duper Sport Mode!

 

And when you get to LUDICROUS MODE, you might just poop your pants

Aside from the biggest governor of all, driver skill, probably not.

 

To Unlock the EXTREME Super mode simple go in these direction with your car (Must be in order)

When you get eleventy billion exp. points, you unlock extreme super sport mode level 2! True story.

 

OMG. this thread just began, but its already made my day.

 

I still don't know if when going left and right are you still going forward or backwards? and what are the B and A? Now you want to throw a select and start... its starting to be like the Davinci code trying to unlock that.

 

I was under the impression that the arrows mean go up and down, not forwards or backwards.

 

It's for the shifter (staring in Neutral), and B/A is Sport/Normal

I was able to access super sport mode at 14 miles. Not like I drove it hard but none the less there is no limiter that held me back from it other then just being a pain to get into from sport.

 

OK. In that case, maybe the engine just got broken in more but I'm telling you it was like the car got an extra 20% power. Maybe full moon or year of the dragon...
