Same noise heard over and over again around the exhaust manifold sounds like little pieces of metal bouncing around. Not to long ago I installed ams downpipe and thinking maybe it has a slight leak??

Any ideas or anyone had this problem?

 

I'm guessing leak too.

 

It could very well be a leak, or possibly a loose heatshield. I remember running the engine with the turbo heatshield off at one point, and the firewall heatshield (which shares a bolt with the turbo heatshield) made a metallic noise because it wasn't completely bolted down.

 

I tried removing the heat shield still there just easier to pin point. sounds like downpipe but its dangerously close to the turbo which im hoping isnt the source
