About a month ago there was a similar discussion in the newb sub-forum (LINK), and alot of guys gave the OP **** for wanting to name his car. It's not something I'm into, but it's kinda fun that others are

Named mine Kurai, now that I think about it I named every car I've ever owned. I was taught its bad luck if you don't name them so it stuck! LOL

No, it seems too oddly personal and the car is too much of a simple utility, like a Swiss army knife. If I name the car, do I name my tires too (Runner, Lefty, Sticky, and Dusty) and do I name the exhaust (Fiona) or the cams (Turner) and the shifter cable (Pullman)? Now I don't know what to do.

I don't have a name for it, but my number for autox is 747... The car's fast, but huge, and drives like a land-yacht at low speeds.

Mine's called the Millenium Falcon and my V-1 radar detector is R2-D2. (so I'm a nerd)

R2-D2 - "Beep...beep..beep.beepbeeeeeeeeeeeeep!" *me slowing down rapidly, trying to drive casually and not eyeball the unmarked cruiser.* - "Thanks R2. That was a close one."

Not much of a nerd cause otherwise you would know that R2-D2 worked with the X-Wing...

I kid

I am a nerd to, so I would probably do something similar if I named things.

Yeah, I know, but when I went to go buy it, my wife was like: "You're gonna buy that thing? You're braver than I thought."

LOL
