Tail light tint issue

So i started this project few days ago, i used the tint spray and clear coat. I did everything right untill the last step. I wiped it and there was scratches on the light just on the clear coat, So i thought lets mess it up and do it agian
( wrong thing to do) so I sanded it down and I couldnt get all of the paint off. So i sanded the taillight with 1000 grid and got it smooth and wiped it with alcohol and spray painted over it and the spray is not sticking when it gets dry it looks like its driping... Is there anywhere that I can get sprey paint remover? Anyone know. Let me know.

Probably. Sounds like you've messed them up pretty badly already.

sand as much possible, even if you scratch the lens. then use the tint films like lamin-x or headlight armor. best way to go

they do have some paint remover that is safe for plastics, you just have to find the right stuff. if I had a link I would post it for you, but it was way too long ago that i bought the stuff.

the alcohol is what's not letting it stick. get a heat gone and heat the up real good. then wet sand tthe living hell out of them and use tape to test if the paint will stick.

Why not just tint them? This way if someone hits you from behind you can just peel it off and they can't claim they didn't see your brake lights. Just in case.... People do love to sue.
