actually not any big deal. spend whole day finding problem, only to find a scrath on the cluth pedal, not sure if I did it coz I did 100miles on it already. Just love the feeling of taking the paper off the brand new car.But the thing is that if I want a brand new 2012 with the same options, I have to pay 2500 more.

Did you get any extra discount for being a showroom car?
I'm afraid that mine has been in the showroom for 8 months..OMG..Though dealer said it's just been there for a month, I dont believe them coz there is no rust on the brake disc

I wish I got a discount. The only discount I got was military, internet coupon, and customer loyalty. They did get my car in a few weeks prior because the dealerships here do not buy alot of Evo's. They have 1 or 2 and sell them 1 by 1. I was at the dealership a couple weeks prior and they had a WW only and had just sold it. The Apex silver came in and I decided to buy it. It had 15 miles on it which was higher than I wanted considering "they do not allow test drives". Its a 2012 and I paid $33.8k but it has no options to it. I know a number of butts sat in it but it wasnt on the showroom for long and my butt is the only one that matters. I think you got a good price on yours. I would have taken a 2011 for cheaper but we have 3 dealerships in my area with a total of 4 Evo's and a 2011 was not available. Congrates on the car and welcome to the Apex Silver fam. I believe we are the rarest of the X's.

33.8k is a fair price anyway.Congrates too! I wanted a WW also, but it just costs too much. Apex Sliver looks really nice under sunshine!

I think the WW looks best in the X. But it is really played out in my area. Not just in an Evo, but regular lancer as well. And you see them everywhere in my city. Infact you will see one in the background of my pic. The Apex Silver is a nice color as well. It accents the black very well just like the WW does. And I believe it to be the rarest of the color. It also gives you some good options if you change the rims. Overall man awesome car and color for an awesome price. You my friend got a good deal. Welcome to the fam.

6 years except when the techs took it to the track for a few hot laps. They drove it in their socks though to keep it nice so you should be ok.

I think you made a smart buy.

I would have been most concerned with the amount of scratches people walking by could have out in the car. You will realize that Mitsu's paint is garbage and your car will be covered it scratches and tiny nicks. You could fart on the car and cause a scratch to appear.
