Small Accident
Hello. My wife tried to make a sharp right turn around a pole yesterday and hit the RR door on the pole

.
There are a few small scratches and a small indentation in the upper part of the door. What would be my best option for getting paint for my car. I live in Detroit area and I am trying to find a decent shop to fix this properly. I just want to make sure that the paint will match perfectly. I will try to post some pictures later on today. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

That sux man. I bought my car almost 2 months ago. I washed it the otherday and noticed I have a nice lovely dent in my door. Probably from someone hitting it with their door.
But your post is the second one I've seen lately about the wife crashing their car. Back in 08 my wife crashed our brand new Spyder (literally not even 4 weeks old) into our house on post. She apparently confused the gas and brake pedal.
I think the moral to all of this....If you care about the car then do not let the wife drive it.

that's not nice though... I love seeing my wife driving the Evo (or at least trying to lol) she looks so effing hot
But yeah, I'd be scared... I was scared when she used to drive my RA to work and back and then one day I drove her GS Sport to work, didn't see the parking sign to my right and scratched the right side of her rear bumper... LOL! Imagine that... in that case, I guess she'd tell her friends:
"Don't let your husband drive your new car..."

And yes OP, post some pics, and fix yourself dont even think of claiming insurance on crap like that... I had to fix something I did to my Evo on the rear bumper (I guess I'm good at not noticing parking signs) and it was a bunch of scratches, some paint that went off and some nasty bumps in the bumper.. got it back to new for $80... but that was down here in Miami

I'm only on my first cup of coffee and so maybe not quite as fun as I might usually be but could we please avoid pitching ourselves into the abyss of stereotypical comments regarding our spouse's driving abilities or how they look in the car. Focus.
To the OP: Any reputable shop will match the paint for you and or have ready access to the Mitsu paint codes. Just find a good shop and they'll make it go away.
