Got my Evo X MR!
Decided to start a new thread to tell about my journey yesterday and picking up my mr. So drove to dallas from san antonio. Got to Don Herring, had a little dispute with my trade but eventually got it figured out, signed the papers and I was off. But right as I was leaving, a fierce nasty storm was rolling thru the area. Been on the news, record number twisters I think in dallas area, destruction, etc. Right as me and my buddy were leaving the lot the storm was almost over us, and we were listening to dallas radio talking about the tornado warnings and such, so we were kinda freaking, but my bud was the navigator and we took a road as far south as we could go, trying to get back to ih35 south. For awhile we beat the storm but it caught us on the highway outside dallas, and we pulled under a gas station in the middle of nowhere and hung out. Eventually we got moving again and got HAILED on! Thankfully they were little pebble size and didn't see any dings/dents on the car. Eventually the storm moved on and the rest of the drive home was fine. Took us like 7 hours from when I left the dealer to get home, with a 3.5 hour drive.
But anyway, washed her this morning and took some pics. Few observations on the 11 mr vs my old 08:
-Can definetly notice the exhaust note change for stock, sounds nicer, but I have my ultimate racing in my shed I'm going to bolt on soon.
-Stock radio sucks, but no surprise there. RF is pretty good difference.

Other plans:
Have a cf front bumper cover I'm going to throw on, and find some cf piece for the back of car to compliment, like vortex gen or something.
Get some Tint

Congrats bud. Good to see you finaly got your Evo after the search and all. What kind of issue did you have with the trade in?
Car looks good also. I really like the MR rims but wish they had the wing option. I know some people dont like the wing but I guess I have a little ricer in me or something.
And yah that stock radio kind of sucks. Its not too bad though. If you buy a sub and set it up so all the bass is put to the sub then it will sound pretty good. And still be cheaper than the RF which isn't all that great IMO.
The WW is an awesome color in the X but I wish Mitsu wouldnt make so damn many of them. I looked up the inventory at Don Herring and it showed 38 Evo's with 31 of them being WW. But I guess everyone wants a WW.

2007 350z vs 2012 evo x
What's up guys need some help deciding what to do. I currently drive a 350z I want to put in a Turbo kit in it the kit will run 10k but I was looking at an evolution x for the room it has I was thinking 3k down on evolution and the 7k in engine parts and Turbo upgrade. Will this make a evolution better than z in performance. If you guys can give me some feed back on this
