Driving your pets around???

Just wondering how many DD evo owners take their dogs out for a walk in the park.. then spend 30 minutes vacuuming every single hair off... It would be nice if I can afford to leather up my GSR.. I'm looking for alternative solutions to keeping the interior cleaner for taking big dogs around..

I have a male huskey.. he needs his weekend walk in the mountain trails.

I'm looking at this product... It looks like it can catch majority of the hair.. anyone tried this before?

Your luck yours doesn't get car sick. I've taken an old bedspread and made holes for the headrests to insert in. It really comes in handy for the hairs, and for the guaranteed vomit for EVERY trip.

I think that is just the cost of havign an animal in the car, I mean it's just like having small children... you are going to have to clean up the mess.

love ur dog m0nkei, my favorite... waiting for the right moment to get one, but I heard they're not good for FL weather

We have a rat/chihuahua mutt, and the amount of hair he lets off is incredible (at any time) so Ive decided to take him to a closer park, walking! lol

Edit: here's my boi coco (NOT Ice T's wife )

Don't get leather for a car that you want to pack a dog around in.

My girlfriends car has leather, and our dogs slip n slide all over when we take them places. Luckily she has a hatchback, so I've started putting my dog in the rear hatch area which is carpet. That hammock is awesome. My mom has one for her Great Pyrenees. It's safer and more comfortable for your buddy, and easier for you to clean.

Not sure how the X interior will react, but the times that I have had to take my husky in my IX I just drop him off at home, roll down all of the windows, then get on the freeway and go 80 for about 4-5 miles and 90% of the fur is blown out. Then I just shop vac the rest of it.

I have a 120 pound Bouvier and then a black lab which the lab sheds a lot. I found a dog seat protector at World Market. The picture that you posted will work really well because it goes around the head rest so it won't slide off. Anything made of cotton the hair will stick too if you're worried about the hair being around the car.

I tried this with my X... it was only able to get a small amount of hair out. I put a blanket down similar to that hammock in the first post, but that looks like a great product!

Here's my husky (white Siberian)

Ah bummer. Worth a shot at least. The hammock thing really only helps with the fur if you don't roll the windows down at all. My dog goes nuts if he can't stick his face out of at least one window, so it still gets everywhere.
