E85 anyone?
Just curious to see if anyone on here has, is thinking or has thought, or is currently in the process of converting their evo to E85. I am highly debating on doing it when I hit the 500hp mark or so.
One of my friends has over 1500WHP and 1300WTQ in his Supra on E85. Just a thought. I'm gonna have Batlground Motorsports here in Atlanta do all my work that I can't do. I just started a new job. Well, I start next week but it's doing what I used to do which is steel and glazing. I made an *** load of money doing it for two years. So by fall, I expect to have a civic dd lol, and start hardcore building my X.
Here in Minnesota, it is a no brainer. My son is going E85 in two weeks when he does his intake. cams, injectors and fuel pump. Both he and I have 2011 GSR's, so I will be doing it a little later in the season.
If you can get e85... Run it it is def. worth the benefits. dont worry about all the talk about build up and gunk... I used to just cycle 91 every 5-6 tanks in to clean the system out.
I ran E85 on the stock turbo. Waiting on my tune to run E85 on my T3 kit.
Buguy,
You wont hit 450 whp on the stock turbo even with E85. The stock turbo simply cant move enough air. Granted I was on a conservative mustang dyno, I only hit 350 whp on E85 with the stock turbo.

Weren't you just saying on the boost controller thread you are keeping your warranty and questioning even putting a MBC?Or are you saying once you're out of warranty?
I've been thinking about doing it, but I dont think I will for a while. I have a few stations somewhat close to me, one being 2-3 miles from work and school. I'll probably save around 10-15 dollars every time I fill up too but I think I'm just going to save it for when I get use to my car and want to feel more power.
