Feeler: Who's interested in lowering brackets for their OEM Recaros?

Guys,

RussellM from Mitsubishiparts.net is a retailer for a company that makes lowering brackets for Evo 7/8/9 OEM Recaros and evidently they think that no one in the X community would be interested in these. Let's prove them wrong! Based on discussions I've seen in the past I think there are enough of us out there interested in lowering their OEM seat that we could get a company to start producing them for us. So, who's interested in lowering brackets for their OEM Recaros?

Here's a thread with a sample of the company's current product line for the Evo: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/mi...echnology.html

Ill let you know as soon as I do how many we need to sell to make it happen.

Don't be shy guys, if we demonstrate there's enough interest, there's a good chance we can get these made!

Don't mean to troll but how tall are you guys? I'm 5'10" and I can't even see my hood without lifting off the seat.

Be nice if they could go a little farther and make it height adjustable. Even if they are predetermined height notch's that you cane select to go up or down.

Actually, what A LOT of customers who come in to look at Evo's ask is "Is there a way to move the seats up?"

So, there are probably a lot of people who would be interested in either a lifter and lower - or some kind of 2 way pump.

LOL I was thinking the same thing. I am 6'2" and I feel like a midget in the car. I was hoping for something to raise the seats.

Just FYI, Binary produced these early in the X days. They didn't work out as many felt the seats were too low as it is. That may be why you're getting some resistance.
