MitsubishiParts.NET | Planted Seat Bracket Technology

We are very proud to announce that mitsubishiparts.net is now an official dealer for Planted Seat Bracket Technology. These brackets are made locally and if we dont have them on the shelf they are readily available in a timely manner.
We are currently working on adding the product lineup to our site. If you have another application you are interested in contact me by PM or phone 360.352.8558.

PRICING:
BOTTOM MOUNT BRACKETS $140 PER SIDE
UNIVERSAL SIDE MOUNT BRACKETS $79.95 PER SIDE

Planted vs. the competition?
Planted brackets are stronger! They are made from 3/16th inch steel making the welds stronger and more durable. The Planted bracket will not bend or warp with heat whereas other brackets can be bent by hand.

Which aftermarket seats work with Planted Seat brackets and what makes them so easy to use?
Planted brackets are more versatile with predrilled slots for sliders from most major aftermarket seat manufacturers like Sparco, Recaro, OMP, Cobra, Racetech, Status, Corbeau, Bride, Momo, etc. There is also extra material for direct mounting when the driver wishes to eliminate sliders altogether.

It all comes down to price?
We agree, and we are sure you will be pleased to know that Planted seat brackets and side mounts are less expensive then most of the competition and in fact when others raised their prices....we didn't.

Where are these brackets being made?
In the good ol' USA. In fact, Planted is a local family owned company and the products are manufactured in the Northwest so they are readily available to be shipped worldwide. By purchasing planted you're helping local business and the economy. It's a win-win!

One question?

I have an Evo 8... I have a Sparco seat that is side mounted. I have the side mounts from Sparco, the thing is, What I only have is the bare floor on the car to install the new seat. Will this (planted seat bracket) install to the floor of the car and then I can attach the Sparco side mounts to this?

If so, I want one!

let me know,

Thanks!

I responded to your PM, but Ill answer here too.

The Planted seat bracket mounts directly to the floor, like your OEM Seat Frame would. It utilizes the OEM Mount locations and essentially creates a level surface for your seat, sliders, and/or side mounts to mount to.

Planted is not making a low bracket for the Evos yet. They have not seen a huge interest for it at this time.

Any shots of these mounted in an Evo?

When you say they are not making a low bracket, does that mean that this is designed for roughly stock height?

thanks

I'm very interested! How many people would they need committed to develop a low bracket for the Evo X? I'm sure I could find a dozen or so people interested if started a couple threads. It's been a while but I think there already are threads out there with people asking for lower seat brackets for the X. I think there could be a market for Evo X lowered brackets, knowing how many they need/want to sell would be a good start. Let them know!

Thanks!

I emailed Planted about this. I spoke to them a while back regarding low brackets for the Evos and they stated they had not seen an interest for them. I knew there was and it sounds like its time to see if we can round up enough people who can committ to buying them to get them produced. Ill let you know as soon as I do how many we need to sell to make it happen.

Thanks, Russell. I'll get a thread started to bring out some interest. I'll post a link here when I do.
